From city-like informal markets in Moscow and the post-war self-urbanization in Kosovo, to the border economies of the Mediterranean and the parallel worlds of today’s burgeoning megacities, these sites confront us with spatial organisation that is unsolicited, unlimited and that opens up an experiential sphere outside prescribed forms of political representation.
interrogates the potential of such developments, together with the potential for cultural engagement through a series of conversations with artists, curators, spatial practitioners and theorists.
This event brings these accounts together with a panel of theorists and practitioners.
