Credit Crunch Arts?

In the latest Times Literary Supplement, and on the TLS website, George Walden discusses the impact of the credit crunch on the arts in the UK (these are your professional creative possibilities he’s talking about, people). His conclusion is not bullish: ‘Hyperbole and boosterism have obscured the sad truth about the so-called renaissance of the arts in Britain.’ Do you think he’s right? [AR]
