Saturday Guardian

Like all UK-based writers (I’d guess) I get the Saturday Guardian weekly, for the ‘Review’ supplement and its in-depth book and theatre related features and reviews.  I’d recommend you do the same.  This week there’s a feature in which writers discuss the stories behind six famous pictures at the Courtauld (something relevant to at least one group of 2nd year fictioneers).  Also Margaret Drabble (a good novelist) reviews Doris Lessing (a better novelist), and the imminence of the latest and dare-we-hope last Harry Potter book (or booklet) is warmly noted.  [AR]
